Rob Novick graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1994, with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He received his Masters of Science in Social Work in 1998 from the University of Texas in Arlington, graduating top in his class. Since then, he has achieved the highest certification offered by the state of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). His specialty has been working with patients of all ages. He has worked in some of the top rated hospitals in the Dallas Metroplex, including Zale Lipshy University Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, and on St. Paul University Hospital campus. Over these years, he has built a reputation for being a strong client advocate and caring individual. Rob is a well-respected social worker, who has developed relationships with top doctors and other healthcare providers in the area as well as long term care facilities and agencies.
For many years, Rob assisted families making long term healthcare decisions for loved ones. The question that was asked most often when facing this difficult time was “What do I do?”. Families were not prepared or equipped for these situations and quickly became overwhelmed and lost. Rob had a solution. In 2005, he developed Advanced Care Partners to educate families and provide answers to their difficult questions. However, Rob realized that if families would prepare prior to the emergent situation, many of the guessing of what to do could have been answered by the one needing the care.
